In 2011 ISSCC introduced a new annual event, the Industry Demonstration Session (IDS). The IDS features live demonstrations of selected ICs that were also presented by industry authors in regular paper sessions. The ICs included wireless communication, high-performance amplifiers, graphics processors, OLED microdisplays, energy harvesters, cellphones, and more. The IDS is intended to exemplify the real-life applications made possible by new ICs presented at ISSCC.
The 2012 IDS videos will be available for viewing in June 2012.
